BREEDERS- JOHNSON & PERFOMANCE DOGS
We have been into breeding American Bulldogs since 2007. Since that time we have become totally addicted to these fantastic dogs. They have become a huge part of our life and we have invested heavily to obtain the best bloodlines available. Our goal is to breed the best, most healthy, American Bulldogs in the country. 
To ensure our dogs are healthy and suitable for breeding purposes, all our breeding stock are registered with American Bulldog Registry Downunder (ABRD), hip & elbow scored, NCL tested (a genetic disorder), DNA profiled, microchipped, vet checked and fully vaccinated. We only breed from superior dogs that will produce superior pups.
We are very proud to have been nominated for the 2008 Master Dog Breeder of the Year Award. These awards were presented in Canberra in March 2009 and with well over 100 dog people in attendance from all sorts of breeds, we believe we helped raise the profile of the American Bulldog. Although we did not win the award we were more than thrilled just to have been nominated. The breeding of our dogs and genetics is a large part of our program.
The other important areas are feeding, exercise and general management. We pride ourselves on our feeding regime of our dogs and are more than willing to share our ideas with you. We supply all clients with a full information sheet on feeding and care of pups and dogs. We are always ready to offer advice and suggestions to anyone who is interested in our ideas on feeding, socialization or raising a confident well balanced dogs.
The other area we pride ourselves on, is the fitness and exercise of our dogs. Depending on the dogs capabilities and age, we work the dogs to keep them in prime condition but at the same time always ensuring we do not push them past their ability. We also keep good accurate records of all and every activity that is important to the day to day and long term management of the dogs. All dogs are sold with a health guarantee.
As you can see we are very passionate about American Bulldogs. These dogs, we believe, are the ultimate, all round, dual purpose dog available. We also believe they are the best family dog around as they adore children and can become very protective of the family and their home.
We breed the Performance type of American Bulldog. These dogs are also known as hybrids as they are a mix of the two main strains, the Johnson/Classic and the Scott/Standard. With careful selection it is possible to have the best of both strains and depending on your lifestyle and the type of dog you require we can supply you with either a very athletic American Bulldog or dogs that are built to impress just with their looks. We are members of The Master Dog Breeders and Associates, which is a recognized dog breeder and owner organization who promote elite dog breeding and care. We are also foundation members and a director of the American Bulldog National Breed Council of Australia, which is the representative organization for our breed. We recommend all breeders and owners of American Bulldogs should join these organizations.
